Sardine Run 2011 Trip Overview
Our aim, in our true personal style, is to bring back the true old Africa sardine run, accommodating our clients in spectacular rural locations very seldom visited and guaranteed to offer you exclusivity to a large stretch of coastline.
As the sardine run has become so popular, with many of the sardine run locations and operators “boiling over” with numbers, we constantly strive to look for new locations to take our clients to, to not only enjoy the amazing spectacle that has become known as “the greatest shoal on earth” but also to give you a true feel of our beautiful home, Africa. We are also constantly striving to give you as much of an experience as we can.
We have added an exciting new area for 2011 and after much searching, driving and checking things out, we are proud to offer the Anchorage Hotel at Mdumbi, as part of our itinerary for the sardine run. This absolutely beautiful and remote stretch of coastline is just north of Coffee Bay, which means that we get the action earlier than all the northern, more populated areas. This area is also the first to get brilliant visibility and the last to get low visibility.
We are also offering a more “mobile” sardine run from 2011 and beyond, meaning that we have a few location options, with dates to match that we are using, to ensure that we gain the maximum from the sardine run and everything that this amazing spectacle has to offer.
Our team will personally be involved in all aspects of the trip to ensure our clients have an experience of a lifetime. You can be assured of this from us.
Our trips are for the adventurer, the person who not only wants more space on the ocean but wants to see Africa in all of its rural glory, complete with breath taking scenery set in the heart of the Wild Coast.

Please note that depending on the action, we may add on further trips and move our area of operating on to the Port St John’s area after 17th July 2011. Should you wish to join us for a later trip, the package price will remain unchanged but the accommodation venue will change accordingly. This is subject to activity and availability
